Our Professionals
Dr. Ball was drawn to dentistry through a genuine love for working with his hands.
As a young child model building held a keen interest for Don. As well, through the
need for braces as a teen, Don’s orthodontist provided enough intrigue to set a
life course for Don in dentistry.
Dr. Ball is a graduate of Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston and
earned his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario in London
graduating in 1983. Since graduating Western, every 5 years the “Dents ’83”
have the highest turnout for homecoming reunions per graduating classes.
Initially starting off his career as part of a Tridont Office, Don and his partners
grew their practice to what is now, the present day, Innes Dental Health Group.
Don willingly exceeds his required hours of Continuing Education every year and
is constantly striving to improve patient care with both current dental technologies
and best care practices.
Don is an avid mountain biker, windsurfer and skier. Don shares his life with his
wife Mary-Anne and their two grown children, Steven and Sarah. The newest
member of the Ball clan is their lovely and very loving Golden, “Sadie”. Sadie has
taken-well to bike runs and loves participating in the Run for the Cure.

Dr. Noshin Valadi
Eager to help everyone get a beautiful and healthy smile, Dr. Noshin Valadi joined
the team at Innes Dental Health Group in 2008.

Noshin graduated from a University in Tehran with honors and received her Doctor
of Dental Surgery in 1999. In May 1999, Dr. Valadi took an academic qualifying
program at the University of Toronto and graduated with honors in 2003.

It was a love of both art and science that drove Dr. Valadi to become a dentist. “I
love dentistry” Noshin says. “It’s a science but at the same time it is artwork.”

She has a strong track record in research, having earned awards for her work. She
worked as a research assistant at the University of Toronto and won the award for
best research project topic in the 39th International Dental Congress of Iran. To
continue to advance her practice, Noshin attends courses at the Pankey Institute in
Miami, Florida, a world renowned continuing dental education centre which
advocates comprehensive patient- centered dentistry.

Although a dentist, Noshin is a patient too. She understands why dentistry can
intimidate people. Her goal is to communicate with her patients and ease their
fears. Noshin is able to converse in both English and French and is also fluent in
Persian. During her time off she enjoys oil painting, creating clay sculptures,
fitness, beading and the Twilight saga. She enjoys working with both the staff and
patients at the clinic, describing everyone as easy-going and very friendly. Noshin
feels it is wonderful to be able to work with her mentor Dr. Raymond Oneson within
the same practice.

Dr. Valadi is currently accepting new patients. She is available Mondays from 9
am to 5 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm
Dr. Oneson graduated from Loyola of Montreal with a Bachelor of Science in 1971
and from McGill University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1975.  With 34
years of practice, Dr. Oneson's scope of interest is with the jaw joint, supporting
periodontal tissues, a well balanced bite and superior esthetics.
While practicing in Ottawa, Dr. Oneson's place of residence is in Montreal where
